2010 Annual Conference of China Plastics Piping Association (CPPA), from 20th to 22nd , organized by China Plastics Piping Association and Hunan Shensu Technology Co., Ltd. has successfully held in Changsha,Hunan Province.

Standing Vice-President and Secretary-general of Wang Zhanjie presided over the opening ceremony of this Annual Conference. And the following sessions were presided over by Li Baiqian,Li Zhongfu,Zhang Wenlong,Fu Zhimin and Wang Shiliang respectively,who are representatives from several vice-presidential members of CPPA.
The output of plastic pipes in 2009 has reached 5803700 tons, increased by 18.92% over the same period in 2008. And the processing capability of plastic pipes has exceeded 7 million tons. With the improvement of producing and application technology of plastic pipes, plastic pipes have been applied more fields than before.
Products' quality is the foundation of enterprises, while the markets determine the development of enterprises. Up to now, there are 12 kinds of China Brand Products, 20 well-known trademarks and hundreds of local brand products of plastic pipes industry in China. But the product quality of plastic pipes in the market is uneven, due to the intensifying market competition, different customers’ demands, imperfect supervision of the market and several reasons. It was found that there are potential quality problems in some pipe projects.So it 's imperative for us to strengthen self-discipline and supervision within plastic pipes industry and set up new images.
18 special reports on raw materials, equipments, new technologies, standardization, testing, application, quality control and development strategies for plastic pipes, the analysis of domestic macroeconomic situation, financing and listing of enterprises have been made around the theme “ Reliable Products, Upscale Market and Sustainable Development ” at the conference.
As one of the largest countries of plastic pipes, China is making its efforts to become the powerful country in producing plastic pipes. Strengthening the brand development and upscaling the market of plastic pipes industry have become imperative, and high quality products of plastic pipes industry would be the mainstream of the market.
Setting up a “Quality Alliance of Plastic Pipes Industry” based on its members, which is a new plan put forward by CPPA, aims to make all the members be responsible for their products’ qualities and promote the development of plastic pipes industry.
Make efforts and innovations, take on responsibilities to promote the steady, rapid and sustainable development of plastic pipes industry have become the common goal of each enterprise within our industry. And this conference also provided a platform for upstream and downstream enterprises to communicate with each other.
