On May 5, The 23rd International Exhibition on Plastics and Rubber open in Guangzhou

The area of this current exhibition is more than 140 thousand square meter. This exhibition have attracted more than 1870 exhibitors who come from 35 countries and territories; 1800 advanced plastic machines are laid out; multitudinous manufacturers of raw materials and plastic products will bring forth their latest achievements; it is estimated more than 70 thousand professional visitors and buyers would negotiate business and deliberate technologies. They said that they hope to get acquainted with more customers by this exhibition. In addition to original “auxiliary equipment and testing apparatus zone”, “chemical and raw materials zone”, “mold and processing equipment zone ”, “extrusion machines zone”, “injection machines zone”, “plastic package and blow moulding machines zone”, “other processing machinery”, “semi-manufactures zone”, and “China export machines and raw materials hall”, “Plastic building materials zone” is set up in particular, which make the quantity of exhibition zone is overnumbered by 10, and theme of which is “Heart in Sichuan, ‘plasticize’ the future collectively”. “Plastic building materials zone” exhibit rebuilded model house in Sichuan, which have the visitors learn how live-action house is in Sichuan after rebuiding in the future, and acquaint themselves with actual application of rubber plastic products in house building, besides exhibiting plastic products such as plastic pipes, boards or sheets, foam materials, profiles, door and windows and accessories for various infrastructure projects and domestic use.

Data of CPPIA shows synthetic resin output is 7800 thousand tons in first quarter, declined 3.37% over the same period of the previous year; plastic machines output is 29890, dropped 35.74; plastic products yield is 8970 thousand tons , rised 9.38%.
