From 16th to 18th in June, 2009 CPPA Annual Conference was successfully held in Sunny Wanhao Hotel in Wuhai Inner Mongolia. Nearly 300 people attented the conference, who are executive leaders and experts of related enterprises, associators of CPPA, plastic pipes maker, supply-chain enterprises, related medias, test institutions, certificate authorities etc, totaled 150 enterprises.

The theme of this CPPA Annual conference is “To implement the Scientific Outlook on Development, seize the opportunity, promoting the development of industry”. Zhanjie Wang, Secretary General of CPPA, and Shiliang Wang, the vice Director Genearal presided over the conference respectively.

By voting, 《Declaration of forbidding to use lead-based PVC stabilizer in water supply pipe》was passed in the 2009 CPPA Annual Conference. The declaration poinst out that products without lead follow the current international trends, and lead prohibition accord with healthy and environmental requirement. For the sake of safegurading legitimate rights and interests of users, must completely ban PVC pipes makers to use lead based PVC stabilizers. Supervision of this declaration by the relevant units and individuals are welcome. If the members of CPPA use lead based PVC stabilizers in production of PVC water-supply pipes, they will be expelled from CPPA.

Representatives of conference participants visited Binhe District, and the PVC manufacturers in Wuhai( Wu hai Chemical Co., Ltd, Inner Mongolia Yihua Chemical Co., Ltd, Junzheng Group)in the afternoon of 17,June.
